Description

ELEGOO Rapid PETG is a PETG tuned for speed — ELEGOO rates it for printing up to 600 mm/s. Compared to plain PLA it's tougher and more impact-resistant, stiffer, and handles heat better, while keeping the low warping and shrinkage PETG is known for. Strong layer adhesion and a neatly wound spool keep prints predictable.

PETG absorbs moisture from the air: store the spool dry and dry it at 65 °C after long storage — wet filament causes stringing and steam pops. PETG also bonds aggressively to smooth PEI, so apply a thin layer of glue stick as a release agent, or you risk chipping out a piece of the plate coating.

Rapid PETG suits functional parts, brackets, enclosures, and outdoor items that need more strength than PLA. It works with almost any 1.75 mm FDM printer — Creality Ender 3 and K-series, Anycubic Kobra, Bambu Lab. To actually hit 600 mm/s you need a fast printer with a high-flow hotend and strong part cooling; on regular machines, print at 50–250 mm/s.
