Description
ELEGOO PAHT-CF is a high-temperature nylon (PAHT polyamide) reinforced with chopped carbon fiber. It combines heat resistance, stiffness, and light weight, making it a strong pick for functional, load-bearing parts: brackets, housings, and automotive or industrial components that run hot. The carbon fiber boosts rigidity and dimensional stability but makes the filament abrasive.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 280–310 °C
- Bed temperature: 90–110 °C
- Print speed: 50–100 mm/s
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
- Enclosure, all-metal hotend, and hardened nozzle required
For reliable results you need a printer with an all-metal hotend rated to 300 °C or higher, a heated bed up to 110 °C, and an enclosure — such as the Bambu Lab X1C, QIDI X-Max 3, or Creality K1 Max. Finished parts withstand high temperatures and mechanical loads while holding tight dimensional accuracy.
FAQ
Yes, it's essential. Nylon warps badly, and the high bed temperature (90–110 °C) needs a stable environment. An enclosure holds the heat, blocks drafts, and gives you strong layer adhesion.
