Description
ELEGOO PC is a polycarbonate filament for strong, heat- and impact-resistant parts. Polycarbonate is one of the toughest FDM materials out there: it holds its shape under load, survives high temperatures, and barely warps thanks to excellent dimensional stability. It's an engineering plastic for jobs where PLA and PETG fall short.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 250–280 °C
- Bed temperature: 100–110 °C
- Print speed: 50–100 mm/s
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
- Requires an enclosure, heated bed, all-metal hotend, and drying before printing
ELEGOO PC is a great fit for functional parts, brackets, electronics housings, under-the-hood components, and other load-bearing pieces that need stiffness and heat resistance. Pair it with an enclosed printer that has a hot bed — Bambu Lab X1C, QIDI X-Plus, Creality K1 Max, and similar machines.
Frequently asked questions
Not recommended. Polycarbonate warps badly in a draft and lifts off the bed — print it inside an enclosure with a 100–110 °C heated bed. Getting good results on an open-frame printer is tough.
