Description

SUNLU PC is a polycarbonate filament built for tough functional parts that live outdoors and run hot. What sets this line apart is the mix of high impact resistance (notched impact strength up to 35 kJ/m²) and a heat deflection temperature up to 94 °C — the part keeps its shape and won't soften or warp where regular PLA would have failed long ago.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 260–280 °C
  • Bed temperature: 100–110 °C
  • Print speed: up to 190 mm/s (around 150 mm/s recommended)
  • Print in an enclosed chamber; use glue stick or lac glue for adhesion
  • Dry the spool for 8 hours at 80 °C before printing

This line suits load-bearing functional parts: brackets, housings, tooling and components that run hot or sit outdoors. Print it on machines with an enclosure and a high-temp hotend — Bambu Lab X1C, QIDI X-Max 3, Creality K1 Max and similar.

FAQ

Yes, an enclosure is required. Polycarbonate is prone to warping and cracking from shrinkage, so a stable, enclosed chamber is essential for a clean, flat part.
