Description
SUNLU ABS-FR is an engineering-grade flame-retardant ABS filament certified to UL94 V-0: it self-extinguishes within 10 seconds after ignition. The line is built for fire-critical jobs — electronic enclosures, automotive parts, switch panels and cable clamps where both strength and safety matter.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 240–260 °C (240–250 °C at 50–100 mm/s, 250–260 °C at 100–200 mm/s)
- Bed temperature: 80–100 °C, apply glue or adhesive for a solid first layer
- Print speed: 50–200 mm/s
- Dry before use: 50 °C for 4–6 hours
- Heat deflection (HDT) up to 86.5 °C, impact strength up to 14 kJ/m²
ABS-FR needs an enclosure and an all-metal hotend: without a chamber and a heated bed the part will warp and delaminate. Print in a ventilated room — heated ABS releases VOCs.
This line suits makers who need a strong, self-extinguishing plastic for functional parts: outlet and switch housings, drone frames, tool holders and automotive fittings. Run it on an enclosed printer — Bambu Lab P1S/X1C, QIDI X-Plus, Creality K1 and similar models.
