Description
ELEGOO ABS-Like Resin (version 3.0) is a tough ABS-like photopolymer for desktop LCD/MSLA printers with 405nm curing. Unlike standard resin, prints come out impact-resistant and resilient: a model can take drilling and moderate knocks without losing its shape. Shrinkage stays low while detail and dimensional accuracy stay high. It's a good fit for functional prototypes, mechanical parts and enclosures.
Print Settings
- Cure wavelength: 405nm
- Normal exposure: roughly 2–3.5s (screen dependent)
- Bottom exposure: 30–40s
- Density: ~1.1 g/cm³, low shrinkage and high accuracy
- Cleans with isopropyl alcohol (IPA); this resin is not water-washable
- Low viscosity: the resin flows back into the print area on its own, no manual stirring needed
Version 3.0 is noticeably more fluid — viscosity is 25–47% lower than ABS-Like 1.0 and 2.0, so the resin flows back into the vat faster and peels off the film more easily, which means fewer failures and shorter prints. The formula is stable, doesn't separate over time and needs no manual stirring. It comes in a wide color range — from grey, black and red to clears and neons. It works with most 2K–8K LCD/MSLA machines from Elegoo, Anycubic and others.
Frequently asked questions
It's noticeably stronger and more impact-resistant: a model can take drilling and moderate knocks without cracking. ABS-Like Resin is meant for functional prototypes and mechanical parts, while standard resin is brittle and better suited to miniatures.
