Description

ELEGOO PETG Pro is the brand's core PETG line — the sweet spot between PLA and ABS. It prints almost as easily as PLA while delivering the strength, impact resistance, and heat tolerance closer to ABS. A stated ±0.02 mm diameter tolerance and neatly wound cardboard spool keep feeding smooth with no knots or tangles. Less warping and shrinkage than ABS, so parts hold their shape and dimensions.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 230–260 °C (per ELEGOO label)
  • Bed temperature: 70–85 °C, heated bed required
  • Print speed: 40–60 mm/s (recommended), up to 150 mm/s
  • Part cooling: 30–50 % so layer adhesion isn't compromised
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm, ±0.02 mm tolerance; no enclosure required

PETG Pro is great for functional parts, enclosures, brackets, and outdoor or garden pieces — anywhere you want toughness and impact resistance without the hassle of ABS. It works with almost any 1.75 mm FDM printer that has a heated bed: Creality Ender 3 and K-series, Anycubic Kobra, Bambu Lab, and more. No hardened nozzle needed.

FAQ

No. PETG prints great on open-frame printers. A heated bed at 70–85 °C is required, and you should drop part cooling to 30–50 % so layer adhesion doesn't suffer.
