Description
SUNLU ASA is a tough filament built for functional parts that live outdoors. It shrugs off UV, rain and heat without the fading and cracking you get from ABS, which makes it a solid pick for brackets, housings and mounts exposed to the weather. It prints clean too — no clogs, no bubbles, no tangles, with good layer adhesion.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 250–280 °C
- Bed temperature: 90–110 °C
- Print speed: 50–100 mm/s (250–260 °C), up to 200 mm/s at 260–280 °C
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, tolerance ±0.02 mm
- UV, rain and heat resistant
This line is meant for enclosed printers with a heated bed — machines like the Bambu Lab P1S, Creality K1 or QIDI X-Plus. Reach for SUNLU ASA whenever weather resistance matters: automotive brackets, camera mounts, garden hardware and any outdoor mechanical parts.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Like ABS, ASA warps badly in a draft, so you should print it in an enclosure with an all-metal hotend and a heated bed at 90–110 °C.
