Description

Anycubic ASA is a filament built for parts that live outdoors. What sets ASA apart from other everyday plastics is its resistance to UV, water, and aging: printed models won't fade or crack even after long exposure to sun and rain. Its heat deflection temperature reaches 90 °C (versus 75 °C for ABS, 63 °C for PETG, and 53 °C for PLA), so parts stay dimensionally stable in a hot car or under summer heat. On top of that, ASA emits far less odor than ABS, and a tight ±0.02 mm diameter tolerance keeps extrusion smooth and free of bubbles or clogs.

  • Print speed: 50–60 mm/s (recommended), up to 100 mm/s

ASA is the right pick for functional and outdoor parts: enclosures, brackets, automotive trim, garden mounts, and anything that spends long hours in the sun. The 1.75 mm filament works with enclosed FDM printers that have a heated bed and an all-metal hotend: Anycubic Kobra with an enclosure, Bambu Lab X1C/P1S, QIDI, and other machines that can hold 90–100 °C on the bed and 240–260 °C at the nozzle.

FAQ

Yes. ASA is prone to warping and corner lifting in a draft. Print inside an enclosure with the bed at 90–100 °C and minimal part cooling.
