Description
ELEGOO Rapid PLA+ is a high-speed PLA filament with enhanced fluidity — it melts fast and flows smoothly, so it holds print speeds up to 600 mm/s without giving up quality. Compared to regular PLA it has higher impact strength and elongation at break, so parts are less brittle and crack less. Strong layer adhesion and efficient cooling deliver clean overhangs, bridges, and smooth surfaces.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 205–240 °C
- Bed temperature: 50–60 °C
- Print speed: up to 600 mm/s on fast machines, 200–300 mm/s recommended
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, ±0.02 mm tolerance
- No enclosure, hardened nozzle, or drying required
Rapid PLA+ works with almost any 1.75 mm FDM printer, but it shines on high-speed machines. It's a great pick when you need to print fast and in volume: prototypes, functional models, toys, and large decorative pieces. Available in 11 colors on a 1 kg spool.
Frequently asked questions
Rapid PLA+ itself can handle 600 mm/s, but your actual speed depends on the printer. To hit the max you need a high-flow hotend and strong part cooling — like a Bambu Lab, Creality K-series, or Elegoo Neptune 4. It still prints great on regular bedslingers, just at their normal speeds.
