Description
The Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro is an open-frame bed-slinger FDM printer with a direct drive extruder and auto bed leveling. Released in 2022, it targets beginners and anyone who wants a predictable workhorse instead of a tuning project: it ships 90% assembled and prints within half an hour of unboxing.
Build volume is 225×225×280 mm, the nozzle reaches 260 °C, and the 250 W bed hits 100 °C in a couple of minutes. The extruder is a dual-gear direct drive with a 3:1 reduction ratio, the Z axis runs on two synchronized lead screws, and the power supply sits under the base. Auto leveling probes 36 points with an inductive sensor. Rated top speed is 180 mm/s; the stock profile is tuned for 60 mm/s.
