Description

The Flashforge AD5X is a budget multi-color FDM printer based on the Adventurer 5M platform with CoreXY kinematics. It targets users who need multi-color printing up to 4 colors without buying expensive equipment. The build volume is 220×220×220 mm, the nozzle heats up to 300 °C, allowing work with PLA, PETG, ASA and even TPU 95A.

The main feature of the AD5X is the IFS (Integrated Filament Switching) system for automatic filament changes during multi-color printing. The printer uses a direct-drive extruder, reaches print speeds up to 300 mm/s and travel speeds up to 600 mm/s with acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s². The Speed Benchy prints in approximately 16 minutes. Automatic bed leveling, filament sensor, Wi-Fi and a 4.3-inch touchscreen are included.
