Description
The Creality Ender-3 V4 is a 2026 release in the legendary Ender-3 lineup, aimed at beginners and enthusiasts who want high speed at a budget price. It uses a classic bedslinger Cartesian layout but arrives with a single-piece U-shaped aluminum gantry and dual Z-axis lead screws, which noticeably reduce vibration compared to older Ender-3 models. The base version costs $399, and a Combo bundle with the CFS multicolor system is available as an add-on.
The printer runs at up to 500 mm/s with 12,000 mm/s² acceleration and offers a 220×220×235 mm build volume. The nozzle heats to 300 °C and the bed to 100 °C, covering Hyper-PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU 95A, and carbon fiber composites. It ships with a dual-gear direct drive extruder, full auto bed leveling, a filament sensor, power loss recovery, Wi-Fi, and Creality Cloud support. Control is handled via a 2.8-inch color touchscreen. Noise level is 47 dB in quiet mode, and peak power draw is 900 W.
Advantages
- Rigid single-piece U-shaped aluminum gantry and dual Z-axis lead screws — noticeably less vibration and Z-wobble than older Ender-3 units
- 500 mm/s top speed with G-sensor input shaping and 12,000 mm/s² acceleration — realistic working range of 150–300 mm/s with clean quality
- Direct drive extruder and all-metal 300 °C hotend — confident work with PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, and carbon fiber composites
- Full auto bed leveling and Z-offset wizard on the 2.8-inch touchscreen — fast onboarding for beginners
- Wi-Fi and Creality Cloud out of the box, magnetic PEI spring steel build plate, filament sensor, and power loss recovery
- Optional Combo bundle with CFS — up to 16 colors (4 units × 4 slots) at a price well below Bambu Lab equivalents
Disadvantages
- Classic bedslinger kinematics limit real-world speed compared to flagship CoreXY machines
- Open frame without an enclosure — stable ABS and ASA prints require a separate box
- CFS module is Creality's first-gen multicolor solution and raises reliability questions on frequent filament swaps
- Not yet listed on Russian and CIS marketplaces (Ozon, Wildberries, AliExpress) — availability is limited to international retailers
The Ender-3 V4 fits beginners who want a fast start with auto leveling and a touchscreen, and experienced users who care about the price-to-speed ratio. The base version is enough for PLA, PETG, and functional parts; the Combo makes sense for those who want multicolor printing without paying Bambu Lab money.
Overall, V4 is the biggest Ender-3 upgrade in years: a stiffer frame, higher speed, full auto leveling, and an optional CFS. For a sub-$500 budget, it's one of the most interesting FDM options of 2026.
