Anycubic Predator

The Anycubic Predator is a large-format FDM printer built on delta kinematics with a heavy metal frame. It's aimed at anyone who needs serious height: tall decorative pieces, cosplay helmets, vases and functional prototypes.

The cylindrical build area measures 370 mm in diameter and 455 mm tall, making it one of the biggest consumer delta printers. The print head rides on carbon-fiber arms along three vertical axes with linear rails, enabling fast travel up to 150 mm/s. The bowden extruder with a 0.4 mm nozzle reaches 250 °C, and the 370 mm Ultrabase Pro heated bed climbs quickly to 100 °C, covering PLA, ABS, TPU, HIPS and wood-fill. Before each print, the auto-leveling system probes 37 points and compensates nozzle height in real time; there's a filament sensor, power-loss recovery and a color touchscreen.

Pros

• Delta requires precise arm and geometry calibration — harder to tune than a regular bedslinger
• Bowden feeding handles flexible TPU poorly, and nozzle temperature is capped at 250 °C
• No Wi-Fi and no camera: control only via memory card and the touchscreen

The Predator suits enthusiasts and workshops that specifically need tall, large-format prints and don't mind spending time on delta calibration. For crisp small parts and easy out-of-the-box printing, a regular cartesian printer is more convenient.

Bottom line: one of the most affordable large delta printers with an impressive build volume — in exchange for more demanding setup and a finicky first layer.
