Bambu Lab is a Chinese manufacturer of high-speed 3D printers, founded in 2020 in Shenzhen. The company was created by a team of engineers from DJI, led by Dr. Ye Tao, who previously headed the consumer drone division.

The first product — Bambu Lab X1 — debuted on Kickstarter in 2022 and raised $7 million, becoming one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns in the 3D printing industry.

The company produces printers in the X1, P1, and A1 series, featuring high print speeds (up to 500 mm/s), automatic calibration, and an integrated ecosystem. Bambu Lab also develops Bambu Studio software and the MakerWorld model platform.

Within a few years, the brand has become one of the leaders in the consumer 3D printer market.
