23 Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Mods and Upgrades Worth Doing
The CC2 prints beautifully out of the box, but open spools, immovable PTFE tubes and a missing web UI leave plenty of room. Here are 23 mods with prices, model links and an honest list of what genuinely doesn't work on this machine.
The Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 is an enclosed CoreXY printer with a 256×256×256 mm build volume, a 350 °C hardened steel nozzle, a 110 °C bed and a four-spool CANVAS unit that puts the Combo at $399. It arrives assembled, calibrates itself and handles ABS, ASA, PC and carbon-filled blends with zero modding — which makes its mod list look nothing like an Ender's.
Ask r/elegoo whether the CC2 needs mods on day one and the answer is nearly unanimous: exactly one is mandatory, a purge waste bin. Everything else is a slicer problem. That's the honest answer for someone printing PLA off stock profiles. The moment you hit the machine's actual ceiling — open spools, PTFE tubes you physically cannot pull, a web UI that no longer exists, a chamber with no active heat — the second half of this list starts. Here are 23 upgrades, from a bin you print in an afternoon to your own dashboard in Docker. Model-specific bugs live in our separate Centauri Carbon 2 known issues writeup; this one is mods only.
1. Purge waste ramp and bin
The stock chute just flings purge past the frame — onto the floor, behind the machine, or, on a bad day, back onto the plate. Then the fun starts: a blob that lands in front of the chute gets shoved around by the toolhead. One owner on r/elegoo warns about the mod itself: his printed chute didn't have enough drop, waste built up inside it and eventually knocked the front cover off the toolhead. Another, who wrote a long CC2 review on r/ElegooCentauriCarbon, adds that the AI foreign-object detection never caught a single blob for him. Difficulty: easy. Cost: 150–250 g of filament. Watch the ramp angle — a shallow one clogs. The popular version (Printables 1568614, 152 likes and 1,557 downloads) uses a 40 mm ramp and an 85×252 mm bin, and the designer recommends PETG. Owners suggest adding 2 mm to the bin floor in the slicer — otherwise it flexes on long multi-color jobs. Alternatives: the rear-hanging Printables 1589031 and the compact Printables 1577008.
2. Spool holders and third-party spool adapters
The stock CC2 holders are spring-loaded and retract slightly when CANVAS unloads filament. The mount is sized for a 53–58 mm inner diameter — in other words, for Elegoo spools. Tom's Hardware had a cardboard spool weld itself to a holder and tear the rubber grips off on removal, which ended with a printed replacement based on the Voron project's holder.

- The adapter prints on the stock PLA profile at 0.2 mm with no supports
Difficulty: easy. Cost: free if you print it. For 73–75 mm inner diameters grab Printables 1603440; for SUNLU reels there's Printables 1573018, where the designer suggests a wrap of tape if the fit is loose. Elegoo's own wiki says the same thing, by the way: print an adapter when the spool bore is too wide.
3. A dry box that mounts on the stock holders
CC2 spools hang on the side in open air, and that's the single most common complaint about the design. Filament pulls in moisture and dust around the clock, and PETG, TPU and nylon start popping within a couple of weeks. Drying filament that's already wet is covered in our filament drying guide; this mod is about not soaking it in the first place.

Difficulty: intermediate. Cost: roughly 1.6 kg of filament, about 32 hours of printing, plus magnets and PTFE couplers. The go-to is Printables 1621621 at 273 likes. Read the warning in the description first: Elegoo changed the mounting bracket, the model targets the older slide-on V-shaped mount, and it does not fit the emoji edition of the CC2. Check your bracket before you commit two days of print time. There's also an open Fusion-source alternative at Printables 1663601.
4. Feeding straight out of a dryer
The logical next step: move the spools into a dryer and run the filament into CANVAS through PTFE tubing. There's a detail the product photos don't show — the tubes leaving CANVAS are short and unsupported, so an extension coupler levers them sideways. A printed stabilizer takes that load off. Difficulty: intermediate. Cost: a dryer from $45, stabilizer free. The catch: CANVAS has no rewind, so on unload a nearly empty spool dances inside the dryer and a loose loop can catch its neighbor. One owner with 2,400 hours on a Creality Space Pi X4 reports only two tangles total — the trick is winding filament back before each start. Files: stabilizer Printables 1745836, and a top mount for a Sovol SH03 on the non-CANVAS CC2 at Printables 1810776. Elegoo's own H1 HT dryer runs $70 with a rotating spool and heat up to 85 °C.
5. Writing your own RFID tags for CANVAS
CANVAS only auto-fills material, color and temperature for Elegoo spools carrying a factory tag. Everything else gets typed in on the touchscreen at every load — four channels, four times. The good news: Elegoo published the tag data structure openly, so this is an evening's work to fix for good. Difficulty: intermediate, and you need an NFC-capable phone. Cost: NTAG213 stickers run about €0.04 each. The spec lives in Elegoo's official ELEGOO-RFID-Tag-Guide repo. The easiest way to write them is the browser tool AnySpool: pick material and color, tap the tag to an Android phone via Web NFC, or copy a hex string into NFC Tools on iPhone. The author re-synced the material codes against CC2 firmware 02.00.02.00 — with the older tables the printer read matte PLA as silk. Printed swatches with a tag pocket: Printables 1601205.
6. Printing TPU around CANVAS
CANVAS is a Bowden system, and soft filament buckles inside it. Elegoo's own answer is a printed adapter that routes channel 1 directly into the five-way hub. Worth noting: Tom's Hardware ran TPU as soft as 95A through CANVAS itself and called that unusual for a four-spool system — but with the adapter the path is shorter and far more predictable.

Difficulty: intermediate. Bill of materials: the printed adapter, three collets, three collet clips and two 4/2 mm PTFE tubes at 48 mm and 25 mm. The official wiki procedure goes: power down, unplug the CANVAS communication cable, pull both tubes from channel 1, assemble the adapter, push TPU through to the hub, power up and set the filament type to TPU. Elegoo Lab's file is on Nexprint with 11.3k downloads, and since April it also covers CANVAS on the first-gen Centauri Carbon. The community considers it under-optimized for printing and offers its own version with an integrated spool holder: Printables 1745692.
7. A tool for the four-in-one hub
The four-channel hub sits right on the toolhead, and its collets grip the tubes like a vise. Tom's Hardware puts it bluntly: removing the tubes was impossible — not with the included printed tool, not with a second pair of hands. If you clog the extruder, you're unscrewing the whole hub. Difficulty: intermediate. Cost: free. The tool is Printables 1760567 (60 likes, 412 downloads): a pusher insert, a main clamp, a secondary clamp and a tubing pusher. The designer warns outright that forcing the hub down through the toolhead can damage the X rods — press on them lightly and you'll see why. While you're at it, print the tube holder at Printables 1582675: same shape as stock but split in two, which makes routing tubes far less annoying.
8. A 0.2–0.8 mm nozzle set
The stock 0.4 mm is the right compromise most of the time. But a 0.2 mm turns the CC2 into a miniature machine: one owner on r/ElegooCentauriCarbon runs the OEM 0.2 mm at 0.06 mm layers in three colors and calls the detail razor sharp. Going the other way, 0.6 and 0.8 mm cut print times on enclosures and brackets by a third to a half.

Difficulty: easy, but see mod 18 — you have to purge manually when switching material classes. Cost: the four-size kit (0.2/0.4/0.6/0.8 mm) is $24.99 in Elegoo's store. There's also a whole-hotend version for faster swaps (Multi-Size Hotend Kit, $34.99, in 0.4/0.6/0.8). Compatibility note: the nozzle itself is the same part on the first-gen Centauri Carbon and the CC2 — Tom's Hardware confirms it — but whole hotends are not interchangeable. Owners on r/elegoo note that Elegoo updated the hotend listings to spell out which generation they fit, so check the description before buying the whole-assembly kit.
9. A silicone sock for the hotend
A three-dollar part that saves evenings. A bare heater block bleeds heat under full part cooling and slowly cakes over: a drip bakes onto the aluminum, then breaks loose and lands on your model. A sock covers the block and holds temperature steadier — most noticeable on PLA with part cooling at full blast.

Difficulty: easy. Cost: $9.99 for three in Elegoo's store. Compatibility: the Centauri Carbon 2 sock is sold as its own SKU — check that the listing names the second generation. Replace it when the silicone goes stiff and starts cracking at the edge, which typically shows up after a few hundred hours at high temperatures.
10. A second plate and a cold plate
Tom's Hardware listed the stock cold side not being sticky enough right in the cons. Beyond that, a plate is a consumable: while one cools with a part on it, the next job is already running on the second. The CC2 gets a bonus here — the plate size matches Bambu, and an owner four months in confirms that 256 mm BIQU CryoGrip plates sold for Bambu drop straight onto the CC2. If nothing sticks at all, work through our first layer guide first — it's often not the plate.

Difficulty: easy. Cost: the OEM dual-sided plate is $21.99, a three-pack $39.99. BIQU sells CryoGrip Pro in 256×256 mm labeled "For ELEGOO CC/CC2": Glacier with fine texture at $22.89, Frostbite with coarse texture at $25.89. Wash any plate with dish soap and water rather than wiping it with alcohol forever — alcohol just smears the grease around.
11. Feet, risers and a cabinet
A CoreXY pushing 20,000 mm/s² will rock a flimsy table, and the table becomes the resonator. Elegoo's own noise troubleshooting page starts exactly there: put the machine on a rigid, level surface, press each of the four corners, and confirm it doesn't wobble. If it does, move it or shim it and re-run homing.

Difficulty: easy for feet, long for the cabinet. And a myth to kill right here: the CC2 already ships with anti-vibration feet. An owner on r/elegoo bought the OEM set the store suggests at checkout, found that it neither fit nor was needed, and ate a 5% restocking fee plus return shipping. If you actually break one, the printed replacement is Printables 1579825 (rigid half in PETG-CF, soft half in 98A TPU; the designer notes the first-gen version did not fit the CC2). The cabinet is Printables 1516471, with an honest warning attached: over 2 kg of filament and more than two days of printing.
12. A lightweight toolhead cover
The stock toolhead cowling weighs over 120 g. At accelerations up to 20,000 mm/s² that mass is what rings the head and leaves ghosting on vertical walls. The second reason is more practical: the stock 5020 part cooling fan isn't sold separately for either the first-gen Centauri Carbon or the CC2, so if it dies you have nothing to swap in. Difficulty: advanced — you're pulling the stock cowling and re-pinning the fan connector. Cost: 30–40 g of ASA plus a 5015 fan and hardware. The reference is clogged_nozzl3's Proxima (Printables 1694872): 38 g of printed parts plus roughly 25 g of fan and 2 g of hardware, against 95 g for Gamma, 99 g for SE3D and 120 g-plus stock. BOM: 2× M3×14 BHCS, 1× M3×10 FHCS, 4× M3×6 FHCS, one 4-pin widemouth 5015 fan and one small magnet. About that magnet: on the CC2 and on a CANVAS-equipped first-gen machine it goes on the left screw of the filament detection board, otherwise the printer thinks the cover is missing and refuses to print. Print settings: 0.12 mm layers, two walls, 10% gyroid, no supports, ASA or better. Check the minimum duty cycle at which your 5015 actually spins up — aftermarket fans differ from stock and can stall at low commanded speeds. A simpler CC2-specific option that reuses the stock fan is Printables 1638383: one 5×1.5 mm magnet and two M3×5 screws.
13. The Micro-Swiss FlowTech hotend
On the stock hotend the nozzle only comes out with the whole assembly: unbolt it, unplug heater and thermistor, fit a new one. If you bounce between 0.4 mm for PLA and 0.6 mm for abrasives, that's a few times a week. Owners on r/elegoo tend to buy FlowTech for both machines at once — first-gen and CC2 — so one nozzle collection covers the shelf.

- Shares nozzles with FlowTech for Bambu X1/P1 and the Creality K2
- The heatbreak is non-structural, so a cracked thread doesn't drop the assembly
Difficulty: intermediate — it installs like the stock hotend and needs no firmware changes. Cost: $84.95. Order the right SKU: the store lists Centauri Carbon 1 and Centauri Carbon 2 separately, and Micro-Swiss states plainly that the two use different thermistor parameters. The ratings differ too — 320 °C for the first-gen version, 350 °C for the CC2 one. In the box: heater core, a CHT CM2 hardened 0.4 mm nozzle, heatsink and silicone sock. The community's one complaint is price: this is the most expensive single item on the list.
14. An adapter for Bambu H2D and A1 nozzles
Same quick-swap goal, close to free. The adapter lets Centauri machines run Bambu H2D and A1 nozzles — the cheapest and most widely stocked quick-change nozzle ecosystem out there. The project has 360 likes and 1,099 downloads, and it's one of those cases where the home-made route costs a print plus a handful of brass inserts against $84.95 for the commercial hotend.

- The heatbreak stops being a load-bearing part
- Files ship as 3MF, STL and STEP, so the part is editable
- There are resin and metal versions for SLM or CNC
Difficulty: advanced. The real constraint is material: the printed version wants PPS, PPA, PA6/12 or filled PET, or an annealing step, because PETG will creep right next to the heater block. The model is MakerWorld 1993997: an FDM version for 3 mm brass inserts, a resin version with modeled threads, and a metal version for CNC or SLM. A premade kit called ECCH2A1 sells on Etsy, and OpenCentauri calls it the popular off-the-shelf option. The adapter itself covers first-gen, CC2 and CANVAS — but to say it once more, the hotends themselves are not cross-compatible between generations; the thermistor and wiring differ.
15. Chamber heat for ABS, ASA and nylon
The CC2 has no active chamber heating: during a print it sits at 35–45 °C off bed heat and the enclosure. That's usually fine for ABS and not always fine for ASA and nylon, where a 65 °C chamber changes warping and layer strength outright. In fairness, Tom's Hardware printed PAHT-CF and polycarbonate on a bone-stock machine with no warping at all — the automatic chamber vent and a tight enclosure carry a lot. - A steady 55–60 °C instead of a drifting 35–45 °C
- Less warping and delamination in ASA, ABS, PC and nylon
- Panda Breath combines heat with two-stage filtration and a drying mode
- Heat-soaking the chamber with the bed costs nothing and works today
Difficulty: advanced, and this is the one entry where a mistake costs more than a failed print — an external heater inside a closed enclosure is a fire safety decision. Cost: BIQU Panda Breath is $99 from the US warehouse and $145 from China, with filter packs at $10.90–$15.90. Specs: a 300 W PTC heater, even chamber heating up to 60 °C, HEPA plus activated carbon filtration, and auto-start once the bed hits its target. Officially it's listed for Bambu Lab P1S/P1P/X1C/A1, the Snapmaker U1 and Klipper machines, but a CC2 owner on r/ElegooCentauriCarbon confirmed on 20 August 2026 that it works here as well. The free route is a bed heat-soak with the fans off before the print starts — exactly what Bambu P1 and P2 owners do without a heater.
16. Venting out a window and better filtration
The stock system is smarter than the first generation's: a servo opens and closes a shutter to switch between exhaust and recirculation, and the filter is HEPA plus coconut shell activated carbon instead of a mineral cartridge. It still dumps into the room, though. Anyone printing ABS or ASA in living space vents outside instead — why that isn't paranoia is laid out in our fumes and ventilation guide.

- Modular by design: bare pipe, pipe with a 120 mm fan, carbon mat or HEPA
- The stock composite filter stays in place and gets swapped on schedule
Difficulty: advanced — you're swapping a panel and running ducting. Cost: printing plus a 120 mm fan; the stock composite filter is $24.99 for three with a three-month replacement interval. The base is Printables 1581701 (91 likes): the designer notes the stock exhaust fan is weak and noisy even at 120 mm, so the channel is as wide and as vertical as possible. Build options: bare pipe, pipe plus fan, a transition to 100 mm ducting out a window, and a mount for a 150×120×25 mm H12/H13 HEPA filter. For something more compact there's a carbon mat housing at Printables 1609510. This corner is still wide open, by the way: the question "has anyone improved CC2 filtration?" in the big mods thread never got a single reply.
17. A quieter mainboard fan
The 45 dB spec is a printing-in-silent-mode number. Idle, you still hear the machine, and a good chunk of that is the mainboard fan, which never stops. This is a mod for people who care about noise: it changes print quality exactly zero, and it stops the printer from announcing itself all night.

- Noctua has made 24 V versions specifically for 3D printers for years
- Print results are unaffected, so the quality risk is zero
- The tach line stays connected, so fan self-check doesn't complain
Difficulty: advanced — bottom cover off, and the connector needs soldering or re-crimping. Cost: about $15–20. A CC2 owner on r/elegoo sums it up: "motherboard fan swap with a Noctua 24 V fan, $15 and it's so much quieter, need to splice the connector." The part exists and is easy to buy: Noctua launched the NF-A4x10 24V PWM, a 40×10 mm 5,000 rpm fan, in December 2023 aimed squarely at 24 V printers, with OmniJoin adapters in the box. The CC2 mainboard fan header is a 3-pin JST-XHB, switched on the ground side by the MCU with a separate tach line. Measure your stock fan before ordering: the official wiki documents replacing the case fan (part B1C071), not the board fan, and they're different sizes. Either way, start with the wiki's method — toggle fans one at a time from the screen and listen for the offender.
18. Switching to high-temp filament without a clog
This one isn't a part, it's a habit, and it saves more evenings than half the hardware here. The stock load routine heats the nozzle to 250 °C. That's plenty for PLA, PETG and TPU, but polycarbonate, nylon and PET residue stays put at that temperature — and your next print starts with a plug. Tom's Hardware words it exactly this way: the preset 250 °C is fine for PLA, TPU and PETG, but the routine never raises it for PC, PA or PET.

- Works in the other direction too, going from high-temp back to PLA
Difficulty: intermediate. Cost: free. The routine is simple: before a material change, manually heat the extruder to the outgoing filament's printing temperature — whatever its slicer profile says, not the stock 250 °C — push 10–15 cm of filament through, let it run clean, and only then start the normal unload. The CC2 does have a dedicated clog sensor, but it reports a problem that already happened rather than preventing it. Until Elegoo exposes a temperature choice on the load screen, this is the reliable way.
19. OrcaSlicer instead of ElegooSlicer, and profile calibration
The most underrated CC2 upgrade isn't hardware, it's half an hour in the slicer's calibration menu. The point comes up in mods threads more often than any printed part: spend the time dialing in your filaments instead of money on parts, and the machine goes from good to excellent. Stock profiles work, but they leave both speed and surface finish on the table. Difficulty: intermediate. Cost: free. CC2 support landed in OrcaSlicer through pull request #13212, merged on 16 May 2026, adding LAN file upload and a device page. Connection settings: host type Elegoo Link, printer access code in the API Key/Password field. The limitation is stated in the PR itself: there's no upload-and-print, prints start from the device page, and WAN is not supported at all — LAN only. One more gotcha owners flag: travel speeds in OrcaSlicer are lower than in ElegooSlicer, so time estimates blow up and settings need porting by hand. Staying on ElegooSlicer, LAN setup is stock: version 1.2.0.17 or newer, printer and PC on the same network, add via Refresh or manually by IP.
20. Your own web dashboard, since the stock one is gone
The first-gen Centauri Carbon had a web interface. The CC2 doesn't — control and camera live only in ElegooSlicer or the Matrix app, and owners call it the biggest step backward in the machine. Difficulty: advanced, and you need any PC or mini-PC with Docker. Cost: free. The project is elegoo-web: a Node.js service holds a single MQTT connection to the printer and re-serves state over WebSocket, REST and Prometheus. Run it from ghcr.io/runnane/elegoo-web:latest with ports 8088 for the UI and 7125 for the Moonraker API, plus a PRINTER_IP variable. The protocol details are worth knowing regardless: MQTT 3.1.1 on port 1883 over TCP and 9001 over WebSocket, auth elegoo/123456 or your access code, discovery by UDP broadcast on port 52700. The project also ships an MCP server with 6 resources and 31 tools, so the printer is drivable from an AI agent. The repo is alive — last commit 21 August 2026.
21. Home Assistant and remote access without Elegoo's cloud
Elegoo's cloud and the Matrix app are flaky, and owners say so loudly — especially after firmware 02.00.02.00. Meanwhile the camera's AI features are tied to that same cloud. The fix is to own the monitoring: the Home Assistant integration and OctoEverywhere cover the dashboard and the remote access parts respectively. Difficulty: advanced. Cost: free, plus a Raspberry Pi or any home server. The Elegoo Printers for Home Assistant integration is in HACS, sits at 175 stars and was last committed in late July 2026. One detail from its docs matters: modern Elegoo printers cap out at four simultaneous connections and the video stream eats one, which is why the integration added a local proxy. For OctoEverywhere, memorize one line: the CC2 needs COMPANION_MODE=elegoo_cc2, while plain elegoo is for the first-gen Centauri Carbon only. Add the printer IP and access code; if you disabled the code, use 123456. Using the wrong mode is exactly what produced the connection refused reports. OctoEverywhere can also host its own MQTT relay broker — built for machines like the CC2 with a client cap.
22. Firmware: what's possible, what isn't, and how to roll back
Search Centauri Carbon and you'll find plenty about Klipper on the stock board and a patched firmware with SSH. All of it is real — and all of it is first-generation only. What you can and can't do on that machine is covered in our first-gen Centauri Carbon issues piece; on the CC2 the picture is different and, in places, more locked down.
- OpenCentauri's patched firmware is built on first-gen firmware 1.1.40, and the project states there is no CC2 support
- COSMOS, full Klipper/Kalico on the stock board, is also first-gen only; asked about the CC2, the devs answer "maybe"
- CC2 firmware 02.00.02.00, released 28 May 2026, removed the SSH process entirely and blocked downgrades to anything older
- OpenCentauri's archive keeps a repacked 01.03.02.51 for rollback, at your own risk
- Genuinely useful in 02.00.02.00: a fix for error 803 on heating commands and for print resume after power loss with an external spool
Difficulty: expert, with real brick risk. Owners on r/ElegooCentauriCarbon warned each other off the 02.xx branch specifically because of the downgrade lock; after updating, people reported connection failures, error 408 on file upload and false "chamber temp too high" alarms. Updating from USB: drop the .zip.sig file in the drive root, then Settings → Check for Updates → Offline Update, no unpacking needed. The machine runs an A/B partition scheme through swupdate: the update writes to the inactive slot and becomes the boot slot on restart. The one piece of deep tuning available without any hacking is the M8803 and M8807 service commands: the first copies printer.cfg, user_printer.cfg and unmodifiable.cfg to a USB drive, the second writes them back. A bad config means the printer won't boot, so keep the originals. The full CC2 firmware archive and the repacked rollback build live in the OpenCentauri docs.
23. A tool holder and a spares shelf
Let's finish with the thing that saves hours rather than percentage points. Bundled tools scatter across the bench, and consumables like a thermistor or ceramic heater are always needed urgently — which is where it gets awkward: Elegoo's spare parts availability lags well behind printer sales. The forum tells the same story: CC2 owners repeatedly report waiting weeks for the part they need.
- Two screwdrivers, grease, the USB stick, the cleaning needle, four hex keys and cutters all live on the frame
- The holder sits on the printer's top edge and doesn't slide
- A thermistor and ceramic heater bought early turn weeks of waiting into an evening
- The OEM accessory kit covers the 250–300 hour maintenance interval
Difficulty: easy. Cost: printing plus eight 8×2 mm magnets; spares start around $3 a piece. The holder is Printables 1570098. What's actually worth stocking: the four-in-one PTFE removal tool from mod 7, a spare set of extruder gears, a thermistor, a ceramic heater and a strain gauge. The official maintenance routine is short: wash the PEI plate with dish soap and water, put white lithium grease on the X/Y rods and the Z lead screw, brush filament debris out of the gearbox and the auto-feed module, and re-tension the belts by loosening the four tensioner screws.
What doesn't work on the CC2, no matter what you read
Half the advice you'll find searching "Centauri Carbon mods" is about the first generation. The machines look alike and differ meaningfully inside, so check this table before buying a part or committing two days of print time.

Where to start
- Purge ramp and bin. The one mod the community calls mandatory: without it, purge blobs end up on the plate and wreck prints.
- Slicer calibration. Free, half an hour, and it closes more quality complaints than any printed part.
- Your own RFID tags. Four euro cents per tag kills the manual parameter entry on every spool load.
- Dry filament storage. A dry box on the holders or feeding from a dryer — open side-mounted spools stay the design's weak point.
- The four-in-one hub tool. Prints in an evening, and you need it exactly when it's already too late to print one.
- A second plate. Removes the cool-down downtime, and a cold plate also answers the stock plate's grip complaint.
- Lightweight cover and a quick-change hotend. The first real hardware upgrade — for when the stock machine is dialed in and hitting its ceiling.
- Your own dashboard and Home Assistant. For anyone tired of the cloud; installs any time and changes nothing in the machine.
And one last thing that matters more than half this list: no mod helps on dirty rods and stretched belts. Elegoo's own CC2 routine is washing the PEI plate, white lithium grease on the X/Y rods and Z lead screw, cleaning the gearbox and re-tensioning the belts roughly every 250–300 print hours, with the composite filter swapped every three months.
