Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2

The Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 is an enclosed CoreXY printer whose Combo version launched worldwide on 26 January 2026: a 256×256×256 mm build volume, a hardened nozzle rated to 350 °C, a 110 °C bed, speeds up to 500 mm/s and a built-in four-channel CANVAS unit. It launched at $449.

What owners run into: a toolhead USB-C port that carries 24 V and must never be unplugged live; a first-generation hotend that fits mechanically but not electrically; firmware 02.00.02.00 with no downgrade path and no SSH; cracks in the moulded base plate near the front door; and CANVAS jams after five or six colour changes.
