Description

SUNLU PETG-CF is a PETG filament reinforced with 10% carbon fiber. The carbon content makes it noticeably stiffer and stronger than regular PETG: impact strength reaches 19 kJ/m² and heat distortion temperature climbs to 70 °C. The line's signature trait is high rigidity paired with a clean matte surface that hides layer lines. It's a solid pick for functional parts — drone frames, tools, automotive and structural components.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 240–250 °C
  • Bed temperature: 70–80 °C (no glue; with glue the bed can stay unheated)
  • Print speed: 50–150 mm/s
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm (±0.03 mm)
  • Reinforcement: 10% carbon fiber, matte surface
  • Drying before printing: 65 °C for about 8 hours

The filament works with most 1.75 mm FDM printers — from Creality and Anycubic to Prusa. It shines wherever you need a rigid, dimensionally stable part with a pleasant matte texture: brackets, holders, enclosures, load-bearing elements. Dry the filament before printing — PETG-CF is hygroscopic and pulls moisture from the air.

FAQ

Yes, it's required. Carbon fiber is abrasive and quickly wears out a brass nozzle, so print only with a hardened steel nozzle — otherwise the bore widens over time and print quality drops.
