Description
eSUN PETG-CF is carbon-fiber reinforced PETG. The carbon boosts stiffness and dimensional stability and gives a nice matte surface that hides layers. Parts are stiffer and more heat-resistant than plain PETG while keeping its water resistance.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 240–270 °C
- Bed temperature: 70–80 °C
- Cooling fan: around 50%
- Nozzle: hardened, 0.4 mm+
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
Carbon fiber is abrasive and quickly wears out a brass nozzle — a hardened nozzle is a must. Dry the filament at 65 °C for about 6 hours first: reinforced plastics soak up moisture fast.
Great for functional and load-bearing parts that need stiffness and a clean matte look: brackets, mounts, enclosures, tooling. Prints with no enclosure, but needs a heated bed and a hardened nozzle.
