Description
Anycubic TPU 68D is a higher-stiffness flexible filament with a Shore 68D hardness. Unlike typical soft TPU (around 95A), it's noticeably more rigid and holds its shape: it flexes, springs back, and won't deform under load. That balance of springiness and strength suits functional parts that need impact resistance with a bit of give. The line is built for the ACE system, so it feeds consistently and handles multicolor printing well.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C
- Bed temperature: 30–60 °C
- Print speed: 30 mm/s (recommended), up to 60 mm/s
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, Shore 68D hardness
- Direct-drive extruder preferred, no hardened nozzle required
The Shore 68D hardness makes TPU 68D a great pick for parts that sit between flexible and rigid: cases and enclosures, bushings, dampers, clips, hinges, straps, and functional prototypes. It works with the ACE Pro and most direct-drive FDM printers using 1.75 mm filament. Seven colors are available, including a bright Neon Green, which are easy to combine in multicolor prints.
FAQ
Not strictly: TPU 68D is stiffer than soft TPU and feeds more easily. But on a Bowden setup, flexible filament can buckle inside the tube and feed unevenly, so a direct-drive extruder gives noticeably more consistent results.
