Description

Anycubic Tough Resin 2.0 is a 405nm ABS-like resin built for functional parts, not just display figurines. Its key difference from standard resin is much higher impact strength: finished models don't chip or crack when dropped or put under moderate load — they flex slightly instead. That makes it a good fit for gears, brackets, housings and snap-fit joints. It works with most desktop LCD/DLP printers and performs best on LCD machines.

Print Settings

  • Cure wavelength: 405nm
  • Normal exposure: roughly 2–3s (screen dependent)
  • Bottom exposure: 25–35s
  • Density: ~1.1 g/cm³, high impact strength and toughness
  • Cleans with isopropyl alcohol (IPA); shake the bottle well before printing

The line is built for durable functional models: tools, mechanical assemblies, gears, clips, housing prototypes and snap-fits. It comes in five colors — gray, white, black, clear and cool gray. It's the right pick when you care about a reliable, impact-resistant part rather than a purely decorative print.

FAQ

Cured standard resin is hard but brittle, so parts chip on impact. Anycubic Tough Resin cures into a tougher, springier material that absorbs shocks and flexes slightly instead of cracking. That's why it suits functional parts rather than static figurines only.
