Description

Anycubic ABS is an impact-resistant engineering filament for functional parts that see load and heat. Unlike PLA, ABS handles temperatures up to about 100 °C, takes impacts better, and is easy to post-process: parts can be sanded, drilled, glued, and smoothed in an acetone bath. The trade-off is shrinkage as it cools, so ABS needs a heated bed and an enclosure.

Anycubic ABS suits electronics enclosures, brackets, automotive and RC parts, gears, and any component that needs heat resistance and toughness. It prints best on enclosed FDM printers — Bambu Lab X1C and P1S, QIDI — or on open-frame machines like the Anycubic Kobra with a DIY enclosure. The line comes in 15 colors, including matte Texture Grey, on a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool.

FAQ

Yes. ABS shrinks a lot as it cools and warps in a draft, especially on larger parts. An enclosure holds a stable temperature around the model and sharply cuts the risk of lifting corners and layer splitting.
