Description

SUNLU PETG is a tough, impact-resistant filament for functional parts: enclosures, holders, organizers, and outdoor items. It's noticeably tougher and more durable than PLA, yet it prints with minimal warping and strong layer adhesion. The formula is tuned to reduce stringing and eliminate clogging for consistent, reliable prints.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 230–240 °C at 50–100 mm/s
  • For fast printing: 240–260 °C at 100–200 mm/s
  • Bed temperature: 70–90 °C
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm, tolerance ±0.02 mm
  • Density: 1.27 g/cm³, 1 kg spool
  • Less stringing and no clogging thanks to neat winding

This line works with most FDM printers that have a heated bed — from bedslingers like the Ender 3 to fast CoreXY machines. An enclosure and a hardened nozzle aren't required. It's a great pick when you need parts stronger than PLA without the hassle of ABS: waterproof holders, brackets, boxes, and outdoor-rated parts.

FAQ

No. PETG prints fine on open-frame printers — no enclosure needed. A heated bed at 70–90 °C and moderate cooling are enough.
