Description
eSUN PETG is the sweet spot between PLA and ABS: nearly as easy to print as PLA, but parts are stronger, more flexible and shrug off moisture and mild chemicals. It handles outdoor use and modest heat well.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 220–250 °C
- Bed temperature: 70–80 °C
- Cooling fan: around 50%
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
PETG is hygroscopic and prone to stringing. Dry it at 65 °C for about 6 hours and dial down the fan — too much cooling hurts layer adhesion.
Great for functional parts, enclosures, mounts and components that live outdoors or contact water. Prints with no enclosure, but needs a heated bed.
FAQ
No, an enclosure isn't required. But you do need a heated bed at 70–80 °C for good first-layer adhesion.
