Description
eSUN ePLA-CF is a carbon-fiber reinforced PLA. The carbon fibers boost stiffness and dimensional stability, while the matte surface hides layer lines well. Parts come out stronger than plain PLA and barely warp.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 190–230 °C
- Bed temperature: 45–60 °C
- Cooling fan: 100%
- Nozzle: hardened, 0.4 mm minimum
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
Carbon fiber is abrasive and quickly chews through a brass nozzle. A hardened nozzle is a must. Dry the filament at 55 °C for about 6 hours before printing — reinforced plastics love to soak up moisture.
Great for functional and load-bearing parts that need stiffness: brackets, mounts, enclosures, tooling. Prints with no enclosure.
