Description

SUNLU Nylon PA12-CF is an engineering-grade PA12 nylon reinforced with carbon fiber. It combines high impact resistance, stiffness, and heat resistance up to 175±3°C with a reduced density, so parts come out strong yet lightweight. It's a great fit for functional parts: automotive and RC frames, enclosures, brackets, drone components, and industrial tooling.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 260–280°C
  • Bed temperature: 50–70°C, use an adhesive (glue stick) for bed adhesion
  • Print speed: 60–100 mm/s
  • Enclosure and all-metal hotend are required
  • Low moisture absorption and stable geometry — less warping

This line is built for printers with an enclosure, a heated bed, and an all-metal hotend that can hold 280°C. It's a material for load-bearing functional parts rather than decorative prints: frames, gears, brackets, drone parts, and tooling that need strength and heat resistance.

FAQ

Yes. Carbon fiber is abrasive and quickly wears out a brass nozzle. Use a hardened steel nozzle, otherwise the bore will change after just one or two spools.
