Description
The 24 V hotend heating element — first thing to suspect when the printer stops reaching temperature or throws a heating error. There's a catch that trips people up constantly: the Neptune 4 family uses two physically different heaters. The Neptune 4 and 4 Pro run a cylindrical 24 V 50 W cartridge, while sellers list a beefier ceramic heater around 80 W for the 4 Plus and 4 Max. The listings read almost identically.
Specifications

Pull your old heater and read the marking before ordering: 24 V 50 W cartridge for the Neptune 4 and 4 Pro, ceramic 80 W for the 4 Plus and 4 Max. Overshoot the stock wattage and you'll trip a thermal runaway fault; undershoot and the printer never reaches temperature.
