Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Pro Problems: LCD, Auto-Feeder, Heater and Error Codes
A rundown of 30 problems specific to the Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Pro: the 14K panel dying in round patches, a cracking pump tube, an auto-feeder that won't prime, and a heater that quits when the print starts. With the error-code reference and factory exposure profiles.
The Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Pro is a 2024 resin printer with a 10.1-inch 14K mono LCD (13312 × 5120), a 223 × 126 × 230 mm build volume, a COB light engine with a Fresnel lens, and a $459 price tag. Three modules separate it from the base M7: automatic resin feeding straight from the bottle, a heated vat adjustable from 20 to 40 °C, and an ACF release film rated for 45,000 layers.
This is a list of 30 problems specific to the M7 Pro, and nearly all of them grow out of those three modules: the peristaltic pump tube cracks and dumps resin onto the LCD, the auto-feeder won't pump because the bottle cap isn't airtight, the heater only warms resin before the print starts, and the single strain gauge that everything depends on throws false dialogs. On top of that: the 14K panel that dies in round patches, the hidden service menu, the error-code reference, factory exposure profiles, and what parts actually cost when something breaks. 1. The 14K panel dies in round patches — the single most common failure
The symptom is unmistakable: yesterday prints were fine, today they have round holes punched clean through them, or the surface shows undercured "veins". The cause is dead zones on the mono LCD — one dead pixel stops passing light, heat builds up there, and the damage spreads outward in a circle. The community calls it LCD black pox — one owner posted a detailed writeup with exposure-test photos.
It takes a minute to confirm: pull the vat, lay a sheet of A4 paper on the screen and run Tools → Exposure Detection. Dead zones show up as dark circles on the lit field. The same symptoms can come from dried resin on the screen protector, which the same test reveals and a wipe fixes.
- Remove the vat and build plate, place a sheet of A4 on the screen.
- Run
Tools → Exposure Detection, pick the first test pattern, and compare what the control screen shows against the LCD. Don't stare directly into the exposure. - If the patterns match and there are no dark spots, the panel is fine — go to the exposure and parameters sections instead.
- If spots are there and the machine is under a year old, open a support ticket immediately: some owners got free replacements.
- As a stopgap, arrange models in the slicer away from the dead zone. Small patches don't stop you from printing.
- Fit the screen protector from day one — a single leak kills the panel outright.
2. The replacement panel arrives defective too
An unpleasant sequel to problem one. Owners report two scenarios: the new panel shows lines down the right side that fade as the print grows taller, or half the image comes up upside down once the ribbon cable is connected. Nobody in those threads found a fix for the flipped half — people are ordering a third panel.
- Photograph the old ribbon routing before you pull it. Reassembly is where this job goes wrong.
- Run an exposure test with a sheet of paper right after the swap, before pouring any resin.
- If the image is flipped or striped, don't try to work around it — record video and demand a replacement. This is a bad batch, not a setting.
- Check that the screen protector didn't go on with bubbles over the suspect area, or you'll misdiagnose it.
3. Resin leaks out of the vat and into the chassis
The most expensive failure on this machine. Resin escapes through a torn film or a poorly sealed frame joint, spreads across the optics, and finds its way out through the ventilation slots. In the VoxelMatters review the leak happened on the very first test print, traced back to frame screws that weren't torqued at the factory. One Reddit owner lost a full kilogram into the chassis.
- Drain the resin through a funnel with a filter, pouring from the front of the vat only — pouring from the back damages the vat body.
- Take the vat out and push the cured slab up from underneath with your finger. It comes off in one piece.
- Another trick: drop a scrap of old supports into a corner of the vat before running the cleaning cycle. It welds to the slab and gives you a handle.
- Always keep the screen protector on — it's the layer that takes the hit.
- If a leak already happened: unplug the printer, strip it down, flush everything with IPA, cure the residue with a UV flashlight and let it dry. Resin doesn't conduct, so the machine often survives.
- On reassembly, tighten frame screws in a cross pattern and check the film against the light.
4. The peristaltic pump tube cracks and dumps resin on the LCD
The M7 Pro doesn't heat resin with a hot plate. It uses a peristaltic pump that circulates resin through channels in the vat walls, warms it, and returns it. The flexible silicone tube inside that pump is a wear item, and it fails: one owner reports cracks and resin on the LCD in under 30 hours of printing. There's no spare tube in the box, and the printed manual doesn't cover the replacement at all — only the Anycubic wiki does.
- Power down and remove the vat.
- Use an S2.5 hex key to remove the heating module housing screws and take the front cover off.
- Cut the zip ties holding both ends of the tube with flush cutters.
- Fit the new tube: secure one end with a tie, wrap it around the rotor, then secure the other end.
- Reassemble, add a little resin and run a feed cycle while watching the joints.
5. The heater only warms resin before the print starts
This is the big letdown. Marketing promises dynamic temperature control; in practice the machine preheats the resin, then stops. The resin drifts back to ambient, and on long jobs models start falling off and developing an orange-peel surface. The official spec backs this up: maximum heating time is 25 minutes per cycle. Owners report the M7 Max got firmware that maintains temperature during printing, and the Pro didn't.
- Turn heating on manually via
Tools → Advanced → Smart resin vatafter every reboot — it doesn't come back on its own. - For long jobs, heat the room instead. One owner killed persistent orange peel with a simple space heater set to 30 °C next to the printer, after a month of chasing exposure, film and slicer settings.
- Keep the printer away from windows and cold floors. Ambient swing matters more than the heater does.
- Schedule long prints for the warm part of the day if your workshop isn't heated.
6. Error 307, heating abnormality, and a dead heater
Same module, different failure. The printer throws "Heating abnormality, heating has ended", or claims the heater isn't installed at all. Officially the error fires on two conditions: the NTC sensor exceeded the target by 5 °C within the first 30 seconds, or heating ran past its allotted time. In practice it also fires when the room is below 23–25 °C or the resin is unusually thick.
- Run
Advanced → Equipment self-testand check whether the heating icon is green. - Power down and unplug. Remove the upper housing screws of the heating module with an S2.5 key and the lower ones with an S2.0, then take the housing off.
- Unplug and reseat the NTC connector, reassemble, and try heating again.
- If the error returns, replace the NTC harness.
- Clean the module's contact pads with 99% IPA — for some owners that's the whole fix.
- If the heating element itself is open (multimeter shows a break while the thermistor reads fine), the vat gets replaced as an assembly: the 24 V 120 W element isn't sold separately, and generic replacements are 64 W.
7. The auto-feeder won't pump resin
The pump hums, the arm swings, and the vat stays empty. Tom's Hardware's review unit did neither fill nor drain; TechRadar's worked until the bottle dropped below half. The reason is almost always the same: the system runs on vacuum, and any leak kills it.
- Check conditions first: 5–40 °C ambient, humidity under 80%. Cold resin thickens and the pump can't move it.
- Inspect the bottle neck. If the aluminum foil seal sticks out past the rim, trim the excess and refit the cap.
- Check the O-ring inside the cap — it falls out and deforms.
- Wrap the cap in cling film and try feeding. If it suddenly works, the seal was your problem.
- Watch the module's indicator. Red means reseat the unit and wait three seconds. Green with a motionless arm means reseat the cable.
- Don't run a bottle that's completely full or completely empty: the probe can't reach resin in an empty one, and a full one has nowhere to drain into.
- Give the pump 20–30 seconds on the first feed with a new resin — the first prime always takes longer.
- If none of that works, update firmware over the network, then replace the auto-fill unit.
8. The auto-feeder and the air purifier can't run at the same time
Both modules draw power from the same USB port inside the chamber and mount in the same cutout in the lid. You get one or the other: automatic filling, or fume extraction. An adhesive-backed blanking plug for the unused cutout is included in the box.
- Decide what matters more. If the printer lives in a room you sleep in, the purifier wins.
- To disable purification temporarily, switch to air-purification mode in advanced settings and turn it off with the button.
- If you change resins often, many owners simply remove the auto-feeder and fit the filter in its place.

9. Residue in the heating circuit tints your next resin
The heated vat is a closed loop with channels and tubing, and some resin always stays behind — officially up to 10 ml. That's harmless day to day, but it shows up the moment you switch colors or move to a clear resin. Reviewers are blunt about it: wiping the vat with a paper towel is not an option — you have to run the cleaning cycle.
- Drain the resin:
Tools → Cleaning → 10s, then scrape cured residue off the bottom with a plastic (never metal) scraper. - Pour the rest out through a funnel with filter paper, from the front of the vat only.
- Run the circulation cleaning cycle to push resin out of the channels.
- Fill an empty bottle with 200 ml of 95% IPA and run
Advanced → Load&Unload → feed, then unload. Repeat the cycle several times. - Wipe the vat surface with a lint-free cloth.
10. False "platform not installed" and "residue detected" dialogs
The M7 Pro has no separate level or resin sensors. Everything runs off one strain gauge measuring force between the build plate and the screen assembly: whether the plate is mounted, how much resin is in the vat, and whether the model detached. When that gauge drifts out of calibration, the printer starts refusing to print on a clean vat with the plate firmly installed.
- Open
Advanced → Equipment self-test → Force Detection. The icon should be green. - Power down, remove the plate and vat, and raise the Z cantilever.
- Pull the silicone cover off the cantilever, tilt the printer, and reseat the strain gauge connector. Keep the cover — it goes back on.
- If that doesn't help, use the hidden menu:
Settings → System → About → Detailed information, then tap the printer name ten times in a row to revealMechanical Calibration. - Remove the plate and tap "Removed", then refit it and tap "Installed". The plate must be clean or the readings will be off.
- Run the calibration several times — Anycubic's own instructions ask for it.
- If the dialogs survive all that, the strain gauge board itself gets replaced (around $24).
11. Models won't stick in the middle of the build plate
Everything holds around the edges, and the middle stays on the film. Several causes stack up: the plate can be slightly concave (the factory calls up to 0.1 mm normal), the center of the metal plate runs cooler than the edges, and peel force climbs when the plate is fully loaded. Owners with thermometers measured the printer overstating resin temperature by 3–4 °C, with the plate center another 2 °C below the surrounding metal mass.
- Hold a steel ruler against the plate and look for light underneath. Obvious warp is grounds for a replacement — Anycubic swaps plates without much argument.
- Level with a sheet of plain A4 paper, not the cardboard card in the box. The card is noticeably thicker and gives you the wrong gap.
- Raise bottom exposure to 60–90 seconds and bottom layers to 6–7, then walk it back down. Anycubic's own advice when nothing sticks at all is 80 seconds.
- Slow the lift on bottom layers from 3 to 2 mm/s.
- Wipe the plate with IPA before every print — a thin cured film destroys adhesion.
- Preheat the resin and lower the plate into it before starting, so the metal comes up to vat temperature.
- For mild warp, some owners flatten the plate with 80-grit sandpaper, which also improves grip.
12. "Insufficient resin" on a vat filled to MAX
The printer demands more resin even though the vat is filled to the line. The measurement explains it: the plate descends, the strain gauge catches the force change as it touches the surface, and the system compares that against what the file needs. The threshold is strict — the vat must hold 100 ml more than the model requires, because resin clings to the walls and the plate.
- Top up to the MAX line (never above it) and press "Retest".
- If the dialog keeps coming back, press "Ignore", open "Smart Detection" and check "Resin Detection" and "Leveling Detection".
- If both report errors, the strain gauge is the culprit — see the section above.
- For large models, check the volume in the slicer beforehand and add 100 ml of headroom.
13. Support bases print several times thicker than specified
Rare but reproducible on this machine: instead of a perforated base 0.8 mm thick you get a solid slab around 5 mm. It's been reported twice eighteen months apart — in 2024 and again in 2026, on different resins, both times in Anycubic's own Photon Workshop.
- Raise the rest time before exposure to at least 1 second. The plate hasn't settled while the light is already firing, so the layer smears vertically.
- Check bottom exposure — 25 seconds on a thick resin also bloats the base.
- Account for viscosity: the thicker the resin, the longer it takes to settle and the longer the pause needs to be.
- Re-derive exposure with the R_E_R_F test file on the USB drive: it prints several zones at different exposure times on one model.
14. Layer lines after 40 hours: factory grease on the lead screw
One owner documented the mechanism in detail: banding appeared at the same height after forty hours of printing. Factory grease packed into the internal preload nut was gradually squeezed out onto the working section of the lead screw. Black grease means the brass nut is wearing against the steel TR8-2 screw. A full grease replacement didn't fix it — wiping the screw before every print did. Anycubic sent a new screw with motor under warranty; the official maintenance page spells out the quarterly interval.
- Wipe the lead screw with a dry lint-free cloth — no IPA, no water, both corrode the screw.
- Apply a thin layer of grease. Thin oil is wrong here: it runs down the screw into the motor.
- Cycle the axis:
Tools → Move Z, 50 mm steps, four taps to the top and back to zero, so the grease spreads evenly. - Wipe off the excess.
- Repeat quarterly — that's Anycubic's own service interval — or sooner if the axis starts making noise.
- If banding survives maintenance, check the linear rails and screw runout at the coupler. The community points at this as the most common mechanical cause of banding on the M7 Pro.

15. ACF film leaves vertical streaks on flat surfaces
The matte ACF film scatters light — that's the trade-off that bought you the low peel force the whole speed story rests on. The cost shows up on large flat walls as vertical streaking that a clear film doesn't produce. Owners printing big smooth parts switch to nFEP and accept the speed penalty.

- Fit nFEP in the same size and tension it looser than usual: put shims (stickers or paper strips) under the ring, and the film pulls taut as you torque it down.
- Reduce exposure — transmission went from 90–92% to 95%, so old settings will overcure.
- Slow the lift, because peel force is higher on nFEP. Don't go below 60 mm/min or supports start failing.
- Re-level the build plate after any film change.
- Don't use Anycubic's speed profiles on nFEP — they're written for ACF only.
16. ACF film life and the 44-screw replacement
Rated life is 45,000 layers, against 30,000 for the M5s-series film. The firmware counter tracks layers, not actual wear, so some owners get past 100,000 layers while the machine asks for a swap at 50,000. Judge by condition instead: cloudy patches that won't wipe off and any bumps mean replace it now, because the next leak takes the LCD with it.
- Clean the vat:
Tools → Cleaning → 10s, scrape cured resin with a plastic scraper, drain through a filter from the front. - Wipe the film with IPA and flip the vat over.
- Remove the four diagonal M3×14 screws with an S2.5 key, then the remaining eighteen M3×12 screws of the steel ring with an S2.0.
- Lift the ring off and remove the 22 M3×5 screws holding the film itself.
- Wipe the ring clean of resin with IPA.
- Fit the new film following Anycubic's official procedure: the smooth side with the yellow label faces up, the matte side faces down toward the light source. Peel off the blue protective layer.
- Torque the four corner screws in a cross pattern, then the other eighteen. No wrinkles — they show up in prints.
- Refit the ring to the vat in the same order and trim the excess film along the edge with a utility knife.
- Re-level the plate and run an exposure test.
17. 170 mm/h only happens with Anycubic's own high-speed resin
The headline number holds under three conditions at once: Anycubic high-speed resin, 0.1 mm layers, and the ACF film. Plus a fourth one buried in a slicer warning — the speed profiles are meant for hollowed models with walls no thicker than 2 mm. On standard resin the official ceiling is 130 mm/h.
Reality is more modest. In one hands-on review the bundled test file of 562 layers at 0.1 mm — 56.2 mm of height — took 31 minutes 18 seconds, which works out to roughly 108 mm/h. And on a plate of minis, high-speed resin in fast mode came in at 19:00 against 25:23 for standard — six and a half minutes apart.

18. Auto-supports grow into the model and waste resin
Photon Workshop's automatic support algorithm doesn't respect the model envelope: column sides end up embedded in the surface, leaving scars you then have to sand out. The same bug shipped on the previous M5s Pro. There's a material cost too — on the same model, hand-placed supports used 87.6 ml against 132.2 ml for automatic ones, half again as much.
- Place supports by hand for anything more valuable than a test cube.
- In manual mode switch the cross-linking from "cross type" to "border method" — by default the columns aren't tied together.
- Check the side view: if a column touches the surface sideways, move it.
- Reduce normal exposure if supports won't snap off cleanly — overcuring makes parts hard and brittle at once.
- Remove supports right after washing. An hour after curing they turn to stone.
19. The slicer underestimates print time
Don't trust Photon Workshop's estimate. On large jobs it's off by 15–30%, on short ones by multiples. Measured examples from one review: an Eiffel Tower estimated at 53:21 actually took 1:05:24; the R_E_R_F calibration file estimated at 22:19 took 42:27; a validation matrix estimated at 1:17 took 5:53. On an engineering resin a 10:27 estimate turned into 31:22.
- Add 15–30% to the estimate on long jobs.
- Ignore the estimate entirely on short test prints.

20. The printer doesn't see the USB drive or the file
The media requirements are strict and scattered across several pages, so people trip over them constantly. The native print format is .pwsz — not .pm7 like the base M7, and not .pm7m like the M7 Max. The printer can't read STL or OBJ at all.
- Format the drive as FAT32 with a 4096-byte allocation unit.
- Keep capacity at 32 GB or less. Anycubic's general resin printer page quotes a different limit (nothing above 8 GB, format within 16 GB), so 16–32 GB is the safe zone.
- Put the file in the root of the drive — the printer doesn't open folders.
- Name it in Latin characters and digits, 15 characters max, no spaces or special symbols.
- Don't slice straight to the USB drive: save locally and copy the finished file, or you'll get a corrupt one.
- Replace the bundled drive with a decent one. Random print failures and mid-job dropouts often trace back to it.
- If the file still won't open, confirm the slicer is set to Photon Mono M7 Pro and not a neighboring model — that's what error 300 means.
21. UVtools before 6.1.0 corrupts .pwsz files
If you post-process sliced files in UVtools, check your version. Between April and June 2026 there was a bug where a .pwsz saved from UVtools reopened fine in UVtools but was rejected as corrupt by Photon Workshop. The cause turned out to be a missing key in an internal JSON blob. Fixed in 6.1.0 on 27 June 2026 (issue 1108 in the UVtools repository); the current release is 6.2.0 from 6 August 2026, and the repository is actively maintained.
- Update to at least 6.1.0. On older builds, either roll back to 6.0.1 or unzip the file and add the missing key by hand.
- A separate bug, open since December 2024, sometimes decodes layer images incorrectly, showing phantom islands and closed holes. The printer still prints correctly. Setting anti-aliasing to 8 or higher works around it, because the slicer then writes layers in the older PW0 format.
- Mind the units: the Anycubic format stores speed in mm/s while the UVtools core works in mm/min. Copying numbers verbatim between slicers is a factor-of-60 mistake.
- Some UVtools tools are disabled for Anycubic files entirely — phased exposures and multiple exposure among them.
22. Slicer support isn't what the spec sheet says
The product page still reads "Photon Workshop, Chitubox, Lychee Slicer (Scheduled)". In fact Lychee has supported the M7 Pro since version 7.0.1, released 24 September 2024 — the spec sheet simply never got updated. Chitubox works, but can't send jobs over the network: the machine profile has network sending disabled. Only Photon Workshop pushes files over Wi-Fi.
- Download the slicer from the Anycubic wiki page, not from the store's download section.
- Anycubic Slicer Next is an OrcaSlicer-based FDM slicer and has nothing to do with this resin printer.
- For third-party engineering resins, get profiles from the resin manufacturer: expect 4.5–6 second exposures instead of the factory 1.4–2.2, which puts the advertised speed out of reach.
- If slicing crawls on a thin laptop, that's not a fault — 14K slicing is genuinely demanding.
23. Two hardware revisions and firmware you can't download
The update log lists two versions at once: V4.0.8.3 for machines with a 5-inch touchscreen and V4.0.8.6 for machines with a 4.3-inch one. In other words, two hardware revisions ship under the same name and you have to pick firmware by your screen. Worse, on the update page the "Download the firmware" link is plain text with no hyperlink — and it names a different model, the M7 Max. The store's download section has no firmware entry for the M7 Pro at all.
- Check your build under
System → Versions. - Update over the network via "OTA upgrade" — in practice it's the only route available, since no local firmware file is published.
- Install the FPGA firmware separately and by hand, following the official update log: download
FPGA_1422_0047(0821).bin, put it alone on a freshly formatted drive, then go toPrint → USB Flash Drive Storage, select the file and run the upgrade. - Without the FPGA update the new automatic exposure-detection feature doesn't work: you're left with the old test, without 4/6/8-zone splits and without editing zone exposure on the printer itself.
- If an update hangs on the "firmware update in progress" screen, don't cut power. One owner's printer recovered on its own after roughly eight hours, then updated in three minutes.
24. Wi-Fi, cloud and when to just use the USB drive
The printer only sees 2.4 GHz networks: if your router broadcasts 5 GHz only, it will never connect. The second gotcha is the server region — China is selected by default, and the cloud won't work until you switch it to Global. The third is that Anycubic's cloud runs on Amazon infrastructure, and some ISPs block access to it. Anycubic says so itself in its own connectivity article, and recommends testing with a phone hotspot.
- Switch the server:
Settings → Network → Server locationfrom China to Global. A cloud icon should appear in the corner. - Connect to a 2.4 GHz network with WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK. Keep the password free of special characters and under 64 characters.
- Stay within five meters of the router — past eight meters dropouts start, and metal and microwaves swamp 2.4 GHz.
- Captive portals with two-factor logins and proxied networks aren't supported at all.
- If the cloud is unreliable, fall back to USB printing or use the local network mode, where the printer is added by IP.
- If no networks show up and the self-test flags error 314, replace the Wi-Fi antenna; if the antenna is good, the module on the mainboard is at fault.
25. There is no power-loss recovery
The official spec sheet lists Power Loss Resume as "Not Supported". A flicker in the mains and the job is gone, along with the resin and the hours. On a machine where prints run for hours at a time, that stings.
- Even a small UPS saves the job — the printer draws considerably less than its 240 W supply is rated for.
- Split long multi-part models into separate jobs where you can.
- Don't confuse this with pausing: pausing and topping up resin work fine, it's the mains interruption that's fatal.
26. No camera, and failure detection misses things
Plenty of buyers expect remote monitoring at this price. The M7 Pro has no camera — not built in, not as an accessory: the official parts list for the machine runs to 19 items and a camera isn't one of them. Detach detection works, but with a documented caveat: it's disabled for layers with an exposed area smaller than 15 × 15 mm. On small models and thin sections the printer simply won't notice the part came off.
- Don't count on automatic stops. Some owners report the printer happily continuing through skipped layers until a worn film was replaced.
- Watch the first 15–20 layers in person — that's where a job is won or lost.
- If a model does fall off into the vat, always run the cleaning cycle before the next print, or a lump of cured resin will punch through the film.
27. A 2.3 kg vat that pours one way and hates IPA
The pump and heater block is permanently fixed in the rear corner, which makes the vat weigh around 2,280 grams and sit badly off balance. There's one pour spout, at the front. Reviewers consistently call this the most awkward part of the design.
- Pour from the front only. Pouring from the back damages the vat.
- Never submerge the vat in IPA — pump and electronics inside.
- Don't fill above the MAX line, or resin sloshes out when the plate lifts.
- If you're not printing within 48 hours, return the resin to its bottle through a funnel with filter paper and keep it away from light. That's Anycubic's own service instruction.
- Carry the vat with both hands — the heater block makes the imbalance obvious the moment you lift it.
28. Noise, and a PSU fan that never stops
The power supply fan on the M7 Pro runs whenever the printer is plugged in — even switched off. One owner got confirmation from Anycubic support that this is how the supply is wired, not a fault. The LCD cooling fans are loud too: reviewers describe a low hum, while owners compare it to a hair dryer at full power and a vacuum cleaner on its lowest setting.
- Unplug the printer rather than just flipping the switch if it shares a room with you.
- Don't put it in a bedroom — prints run for hours and the fans run with them.
- On the subject of switches: the rear rocker alone won't start the machine, you also have to press and hold the front button. People genuinely conclude their printer arrived dead because of this.
29. Resin splashes and cupping blowouts
Two symptoms, one cause: vacuum under a hollow model. First, resin gets flung out of the vat during printing. Second, vase bottoms and large smooth surfaces develop texture because peel force changes abruptly. The end of the job adds to it — the plate rises quickly to the top and drips fall back down, and there's no setting to stop that lift.
- Add drain and vent holes to hollow models — that's Anycubic's own answer to the vacuum problem.
- Increase single-layer exposure when texture shows on smooth bottoms, so the resin settles first.
- Slow the lift on large flat cross-sections.
- Cover the vat when removing the plate and keep paper towels nearby — end-of-print drips are unavoidable.

30. Spare parts, service and warranty
Worth knowing before you buy, because the most failure-prone part is also the priciest. In the EU a replacement LCD is €119.99 and takes noticeably longer to ship than other parts. Owners also report Anycubic support going quiet mid-case: one buyer got a heater and vat replaced, then no response for six months on a printer that wouldn't power on.

- In the EU, statutory conformity rules give you two years, and the cost of returning faulty goods is on the seller — worth citing if a case stalls.
- Open a payment dispute in parallel with the support ticket if a refund drags on. Owners who did got their money back.
- There's also a vat without heating for the M7 Pro — if you swap resins constantly, it's less to clean and less to fail.
Photon Mono M7 Pro error code reference
Nine codes officially apply to the M7 Pro, each with its own page in Anycubic's knowledge base. Codes 302, 306, 309, 310 and 312 exist in the system, but Anycubic's pages for them are empty and marked "Stay tuned" — even the vendor has no description. The five-digit codes in Anycubic's general reference belong to FDM machines and don't apply here.
