Description

SUNLU APLA is a PLA filament built around an anti-stringing formula, so you can print intricate and hollow models with almost no fine strings between parts. It leaves a smooth, matte finish straight off the printer, and the filament is rated 100% bubble-free for steady, consistent flow. It's a solid pick for complex geometry, figurines, and decor where ordinary PLA leaves wispy threads.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 205–215 °C at 50–100 mm/s, 215–245 °C at 100–230 mm/s
  • Bed temperature: 50–60 °C (glue-free); no heating needed when using glue
  • Print speed: up to 230 mm/s — tuned for high-speed printers
  • Diameter: 1.75 ± 0.02 mm, 1 kg spool (≈ 330 m)
  • Key trait: minimal stringing and a matte surface out of the box

APLA runs well on both bedslingers and fast CoreXY machines (Bambu Lab, Creality K series, QIDI) — anywhere speed matters and you don't want to fight stringing. It's a great match for art models, vases, lattice shells, and batches of small parts where cleaning up strings would otherwise eat your time.

FAQ

APLA uses an anti-stringing formula, so you get almost no fine threads between separate parts of a model, plus a matte surface. Standard PLA leaves more stringing on intricate geometry.
