Description
eSUN Super Tough PLA (ePLA-ST) is a reinforced PLA with high impact resistance. Regular PLA is stiff but brittle and cracks on impact. ePLA-ST takes a hit far better while staying as easy to print as ordinary PLA.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 205–230 °C
- Bed temperature: 45–60 °C
- Cooling fan: 100%
- No enclosure required
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
ePLA-ST is the sweet spot between PLA's easy printing and ABS/PETG impact resistance. If a part is functional and might fall or take a knock, it's more reliable than plain PLA.
Great for functional parts, enclosures, mounts, tools and toys that need to survive drops. Prints on open-frame machines as easily as plain PLA.
FAQ
It takes impact far better. Regular PLA is stiff but brittle and cracks on drops; ePLA-ST is reinforced and survives knocks while staying easy to print.
