Description
eSUN PLA+ is an upgraded version of standard PLA with higher strength and impact resistance. It prints as easily as basic PLA, but parts are far less brittle and hold up better under load — which is why this line is one of the most popular everyday filaments around.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C
- Bed temperature: 45–60 °C
- Cooling fan: 100%
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
PLA+ is hygroscopic. If the spool has been sitting unsealed, dry it at 45 °C for about 6 hours before printing to avoid stringing and bubbles.
Works on most FDM printers with no enclosure: functional parts, prototypes, enclosures, toys. A great pick when you want more durability than plain PLA can offer.
FAQ
PLA+ is stronger and less brittle: parts handle impacts and bending much better. It still prints just as easily, at the same temperatures and with no enclosure.
