Description
eSUN PLA Matte (ePLA-Matte) is a matte PLA with a pleasant velvety, glare-free surface. The matte texture hides layer lines well, so parts look cleaner and more premium — especially decor and figurines.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 190–230 °C
- Bed temperature: 45–60 °C
- Cooling fan: 80%
- Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
Matte additives make the plastic slightly more abrasive. Over high print volumes a brass nozzle wears faster than usual — for production printing, a hardened nozzle is the safer choice.
Great for decorative prints, enclosures, figurines and gifts where you want a smooth matte finish with no glare. Prints with no enclosure on any FDM printer.
FAQ
Matte additives scatter light, so the transitions between layers don't catch reflections and are almost invisible. Parts look smooth and uniform.
