Description

eSUN Photochromic PLA changes color under UV. Indoors a part is one color; in sunlight it shifts to another within seconds, then back again — endlessly. It's regular PLA with a photochromic pigment, so it's just as easy to print.

Nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C
Bed temperature: 45–60 °C
Cooling fan: 100%
Print speed: up to 300 mm/s (high-speed capable)
Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool

The color shift is driven by UV, so direct sunlight outdoors triggers a much stronger effect than a room lamp. Over time the photochromic pigment fades a little — keep parts out of constant direct sun.

Great for toys, keychains, jewelry and novelty pieces with a wow factor. Prints on open-frame machines and holds high speeds.
