Description

eSUN ePA12 is a PA12 nylon with low moisture absorption. Compared to regular nylon it's more dimensionally stable and easier to print, while keeping nylon's signature toughness, wear resistance and impact strength. A great pick for gears, bushings and mechanical parts.

Nozzle temperature: 260–290 °C
Bed temperature: 90–110 °C

Nylon is very hygroscopic. Always dry it at 80 °C for about 8 hours and print straight from the dryer. You need an all-metal hotend (PTFE can't take 290 °C) and an enclosure.

Great for mechanical parts under friction and load: gears, bushings, hinges, latches, wear parts. Requires a high-temp hotend and an enclosure.
