Description

eSUN eStars is PLA loaded with a phosphorescent pigment. In daylight the spool looks like normal plastic, but in the dark parts glow softly — green, blue or white. It charges from any light: sun, a lamp, a flashlight.

Print Settings

Nozzle temperature: 215–235 °C
Bed temperature: 45–60 °C
Cooling fan: 100%
Nozzle: hardened, 0.4 mm+
Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool

The glow powder is abrasive and wears out a brass nozzle just like carbon fiber. Use a hardened nozzle and keep it at 0.4 mm or larger. Thicker walls glow brighter and longer.

Great for night lights, switch covers, decor, toys and signage. Prints on open-frame machines as easily as plain PLA, but it needs a hardened nozzle.
