ELEGOO Strain Gauge for Centauri Series

The strain gauge the Centauri hotend hangs from. A steel plate with a shaped cutout acts as a flexure: when the nozzle presses into the bed the plate deflects a fraction of a millimetre and the gauge picks that up. The printer therefore probes with the nozzle tip itself — no separate probe, and no offset between probe and nozzle to calibrate away. That's where the Centauri's leveling accuracy comes from.

Compatibility: ELEGOO Centauri Carbon, Centauri Carbon 2 and Centauri 2. A separate adapter board reads this sensor, so when leveling goes wrong it's worth checking both parts.
