Creality K1 Max

The Creality K1 Max is the larger K1 with a 300×300×300 mm build volume, LiDAR, an AI spaghetti-detection camera, and an enclosed but passively heated chamber (stock Klipper firmware, advertised 600 mm/s, direct drive, PLA/PETG/ABS support). Owners come here to use the big volume without electronics and mainboard overheating, decide which mods are worth the money, configure the AI camera so it does not pause every ten minutes on dark models, and level the 300×300 bed without corner warp after the first hundreds of hours.

The main complaints are 300×300 bed warp after 100 hours, mainboard overheating during long ABS jobs, and AI camera false positives on dark models. If you just unboxed it, start with the corner-by-corner bed calibration and LiDAR setup. After six months, check the mainboard heat sink and belt tension. For unusual models, disable the AI camera or raise the trigger threshold.
