Description

SUNLU PVB is a polyvinyl butyral filament that prints almost exactly like PLA but gains a superpower after printing: you can smooth the model with isopropyl alcohol (99% IPA). The alcohol gently dissolves the outer shell, layer lines disappear, and the surface turns smooth and glossy without hours of sanding.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 200–220 °C
  • Bed temperature: 60–75 °C
  • Print speed: 60 mm/s (up to 100 mm/s)
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm, tolerance ±0.02 mm
  • Alcohol smoothing with 99% IPA — spray, wipe or dip

Great for decor, art models, fixtures and jigs, and even as a lost-casting material. It offers strong bed adhesion and stable geometry with no warping. Compatible with most FDM printers: Bambu Lab X1, P1P, A1 series, Creality Ender 3 and K2, Anycubic, QIDI, and Flashforge.
