Description

SUNLU PP is a polypropylene filament for functional parts that need low weight, flexibility, and chemical resistance. With a density of about 0.9 g/cm³ (versus roughly 1.23 g/cm³ for PLA), printed parts come out about 27% lighter. It's food-contact compliant, so it suits containers, kitchen tools, and storage boxes.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C
  • Bed temperature: 85–100 °C
  • Print speed: 30–50 mm/s
  • Part cooling fan: 10% (low, to keep parts from warping)
  • 1.75 mm diameter, 0.8 kg spool, Natural color

This line is a good fit for durable, fatigue-resistant parts that take repeated stress: living hinges, brackets, packaging, and containers exposed to harsh chemicals. Run it on a printer with an enclosure, a heated bed, and an all-metal hotend.

FAQ

Yes. Polypropylene warps badly. Print in an enclosure, with a low part-cooling fan (around 10%) and a skirt around the model.
