Description

ELEGOO PLA Wood is a PLA-based filament loaded with real wood fibers. Finished models get a matte texture and a genuine wood look — the surface feels pleasantly rough, layer lines almost disappear, and parts can be sanded and stained just like real wood. The line comes in six wood shades, from light Tan Birch to dark Walnut Wood and Rosewood. The spool and box are made from recycled cardboard.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 200–240 °C
  • Bed temperature: 50–60 °C
  • Print speed: 50–60 mm/s (recommended), up to 100 mm/s
  • Filament diameter: 1.75 mm, ±0.02 mm tolerance
  • Nozzle: brass, 0.4 mm or larger (0.5–0.6 mm is even better)
  • No heated bed or enclosure required

ELEGOO PLA Wood is made for decorative work: vases, boxes, frames, figurines, scale models, and souvenirs that should look like natural wood without painting. It prints as easily as regular PLA and works with almost any 1.75 mm FDM printer — Creality Ender 3, Anycubic Kobra, Bambu Lab, ELEGOO Neptune, and others. Keep in mind that, like any PLA, finished parts soften around 55–60 °C and aren't suited for load-bearing parts near heat sources.

FAQ

No. Wood fibers are much softer than carbon fiber, so a regular brass nozzle is fine. Just use a nozzle of at least 0.4 mm (0.5–0.6 mm is better) so the wood particles don't clog the bore.
