Bambu Lab A1 Mini

The Bambu Lab A1 Mini is a compact 180×180×180 mm moving-bed printer with LiDAR and a four-spool AMS Lite, aimed at beginners, school classrooms and owners of small rooms under 8 m². People come here to pick a first set of sub-$15 mods, decide whether to step up to the full-size A1, or figure out what actually fits in 180 mm without slicing the model in half — miniatures, holders, custom brackets and small functional parts.

The most common complaints are limited Z height for desk organisers, AMS Lite noise in a quiet room, first-layer consistency on the flex steel sheet after a nozzle swap, and Orca Slicer profile compatibility for different materials. If you just unboxed it, start with LiDAR calibration, first-layer setup, and a Bambu Studio profile. After six months, check XY belt tension, the AMS Lite feeder rollers, and the nozzle state. For mods, look at silicone anti-vibration feet and a hardened nozzle for PLA-CF.
