Anycubic Kobra Max

The Anycubic Kobra Max is a 2022 large-format FDM printer: a 400×400×450 mm build volume, a Bowden extruder, a Volcano hotend rated to 260 °C and LeviQ auto leveling that probes 25 points using the nozzle itself. It has been discontinued and replaced by the Kobra 2 Max and Kobra 3 Max, but the installed base is still large.

Owners mostly arrive with the "Auto leveling sensor abnormal" error caused by a fatigued print head ribbon, with chipped carborundum glass, a tilted Z gantry, and bed heater or thermistor faults. A separate topic is the Klipper conversion: the Trigorilla Pro A board needs the R65 resistor moved or the Catboat fork.
