Description

SUNLU PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) is a high-performance engineering filament that sits at the top of the plastics pyramid. It delivers outstanding strength, thermal stability and chemical resistance, and it's built strictly for industrial printers with a high-temperature hotend, a heated chamber and a controlled environment. This is an experienced-user material — it won't print on consumer-grade machines.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 390–420 °C (high-temp nozzle required)
  • Chamber temperature: 80–90 °C, fully enclosed printer required
  • Print speed: 30–60 mm/s
  • Bed adhesion: high-viscosity curing adhesive
  • Dry before printing: around 120 °C, the material is hygroscopic

With 100 MPa tensile strength, 163 MPa flexural strength, a 147 °C heat deflection temperature and a V0 flame-retardant rating, SUNLU PEEK is made for demanding parts: aerospace and automotive components, bearings and bushings, jigs and fixtures, plus medical and chemical-resistant devices. Self-lubricating and low-friction, it stays reliable over a long service life even under load.

FAQ

Only an industrial printer with a high-temperature hotend up to 420 °C, a hardened nozzle, a heated chamber at 80–90 °C and a fully enclosed frame. Consumer printers are not suitable for PEEK.
