Description
SUNLU Nylon PA6-GF is an engineering-grade PA6 nylon reinforced with 25% glass fiber. What sets this line apart is its stiffness and heat resistance up to 214°C while keeping high impact toughness — parts hold their shape under load and heat where plain PLA or PETG would soften long ago. It's built for functional parts: automotive brackets, electronics housings, drone motor mounts, and industrial tooling.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 270–290°C
- Bed temperature: 50–70°C, apply a glue stick to the bed to fight warping
- Print speed: 50–120 mm/s
- Drying is mandatory: 4 hours at 110°C right after opening and after more than 6 hours of exposure
- Glass fiber makes the filament abrasive — a hardened nozzle is required
This line suits makers who need strong, heat-resistant parts: working prototypes, repair brackets, under-hood components, and load-bearing assemblies. Print it on a machine with an enclosure, heated bed, and high-temperature hotend — such as the Bambu Lab X1 series or H2D. The spool fits most printers thanks to standard dimensions.
FAQ
Yes, an enclosure is recommended. Nylon is sensitive to drafts and rapid cooling, which cause warping and layer separation. An enclosure keeps heat in and gives clean walls.
