Description
eSUN eABS-CF is carbon-fiber reinforced ABS. The carbon boosts stiffness, heat resistance and dimensional stability, while the matte surface hides layers. Parts are stronger and warp less than plain ABS, but the material still needs an enclosure.
Print Settings
- Nozzle temperature: 240–270 °C
- Bed temperature: 90–110 °C
- Cooling fan: off or minimal
- Nozzle: hardened, 0.4 mm+
- Enclosure: required
Double trouble: carbon fiber is abrasive (needs a hardened nozzle), and the ABS base warps and gives off fumes while printing — you need an enclosure and ventilation. Dry the filament at 70 °C for about 6 hours first.
Great for strong, heat-resistant parts: automotive brackets, housings and tooling that runs warm. Needs an enclosed printer, a heated bed and a hardened nozzle.
