Description

ELEGOO PETG-GF is a glass-fiber-reinforced PETG filament. The glass fiber boosts stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability while cutting shrinkage and warping, and the PETG base adds moisture and chemical resistance. It's also electrically insulating, which makes it a solid pick for enclosures, brackets, and functional parts that need strength and accuracy.

Print Settings

  • Nozzle temperature: 240–270 °C
  • Bed temperature: 70–85 °C (heated bed required)
  • Print speed: 40–60 mm/s (recommended), up to 150 mm/s
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool
  • Hardened nozzle and all-metal hotend required — glass fiber is abrasive
  • Dry the filament before printing — it's hygroscopic

PETG-GF runs on any FDM printer with a heated bed, hardened nozzle, and all-metal hotend — Bambu Lab, Creality K-series, Anycubic, and more. An enclosure isn't required but helps retain heat on larger parts. It's a great choice for strong functional pieces: brackets, housings, mounts, and parts exposed to moisture.

FAQ

Yes. Glass fiber is abrasive and wears out a brass nozzle fast, so you need a hardened-steel nozzle and an all-metal hotend. A 0.4 mm or larger nozzle also lowers the risk of clogging.
